Workshop contents:
This workshop will use EFT to work on mental images/prejudices we all have of people/groups in our lives as a concrete step in our peace process.
Our mental images become our limitations in our relationships with each other. At a larger level the same creates limitations as a community, as a country, as one world. Awareness and relaxing these images is a powerful way of experiencing peace as we begin with ourselves first. We begin to slowly understand the connection between ourselves and our relationship experiences. Working on ourselves automatically reflects in our relationships at many different levels. The process effortlessly leads to a natural state of forgiveness through mindfulness and gentle acceptance. As we dissolve our internal resistances about the other person/group we are then able to reach a state of calmness where rational thinking and solutions can prevail.
EFT is a very powerful tool for us to explore the connection between our mental constructs/images and the limitations we actually experience in our relationships and lives. It helps us gently take responsibility for our own mental constructs/biases/prejudices. It is a powerful and yet simple tool enabling us to let go and experience greatly enhanced relationships leading to a natural state of peace within.
Such a process will often help us take compassionate action which is otherwise difficult to achieve because of our own internal resistances; action which is non-reactive and from the heart keeping the best interests on everyone involved. It opens up the heart connection that has been locked up so far, making it possible for us to see beyond the limitations we have experienced so far.
