I consider myself a beginner/novice at EFT. However, despite this I had an interesting experience I would like to share with all of you.

Last week, on the day of the Ganesh Pooja, my 7 yr old son was in bed all morning, with fever (~102F) and had started complaining and crying about a painful stomach ache that kept increasing in intensity. He had fever but no stomach ache for the past 1.5 days and my parents had been taking care of him as I was in Bangalore on an overnight work trip giving him fever reducers as needed.  I was stressed out and I was in tears, as I felt helpless that I was home alone (as my husband was unreachable on a flight back from Seattle) and in a city where I did not know of a local pediatric urgent care and that I would have to drive him around myself in unfamiliar territory to a suitable hospital or clinic. I SOSed my parents who were 14kms away and who would be more stressed out than I was in such a situation.

As a last ditch effort, I calmed myself down, and did three rounds of EFT on him, he repeated the affirmations with me. At the end of the EFT, upon some probing something came up -- "he told me that he felt that his energy had left him when I went to Bangalore two days ago".  Two minutes later his stomach ache was gone and 30 mins later he was out in the community park running around in the ganesh pandal and the fever nor stomach ache ever came back. My parents reached an hour later and found that there was nothing to be worried about. :)

Even my son was amazed at this incident; he is convinced this is some kind of magic.

I realized that Kids can probably release emotional baggage much faster than us and that must have helped him recover so quickly. Thanks Jay!
