Mind-body relationship – Discoveries about myself while using EFT for posture problems
Kiran Anumalasetty

I was introduced to EFT by Jayashree and I have been practicing regularly (with private EFT sessions from her as
well as a very steady home practice) over the past few months. I have found it amazingly helpful in understanding
myself and the world. I wanted to share a learning that occurred recently to me. Using EFT on mental aggregates or feelings is very common experience for everyone. And most of us would have seen how working on mind will have a positive influence on body. For e.g. working on fear and anxiety will help overcome hypertension etc. However the
converse is also true. I have chronic back pain and spinal scoliosis for several years and tried several alternative
healing with some benefits.

Recently I started using EFT to understand my bad spine posture. After one week of working on my spine, I noticed
so many changes within me. Changes in my spinal posture are coming along with change in my attitude, communication and even ability to smile. Bad posture is not just a physical ailment and correcting the posture cannot happen unless there is a change in the whole way of my being. There is still a long way to go. But I now see clearly the connection between my posture problem and my way of being. I am now seeing my back pain as an easy handle for me to understand and work on myself.

About Jayashree As A Teacher
Kiran Anumalasetty
When I started EFT in a group EFT workshop, my first impression was that it is moreof a variant of acupressure,
which can be used to make energy free flowing. In fact, reading some resources on the EFT website also gave
me a similar picture. During the one-one private healing sessions with Jayashree, I experienced the full and true
potential of EFT unleashed. Jayshree amazingly delves into your innermost feelings, takes you into the depths of
your own. She does this in a very unique and spontaneous way. My one-one sessions are never the same and I
felt the path the sessions took are purely driven by the need of the moment. I personally feel lucky for getting
introduced to a teacher like Jayashree, who senses the student feelings by intuitively connecting to him/her with
full awareness of the moment. Added to this, her emphasis on regular home practice, frequent follow ups over phone
and her sense of readiness to help anytime, are a few additional attributes that make her a truly Gifted Teacher.
